NO MATTER WHAT THEY SAY,
WORDS CANT BRING US DOWN.......
Ever pondered upon the disillusionment in which the very proclaimed " hot kitten" Christina Auiglera crooned in the lyrics . As if the austere demeanor would have fended her laurels .
If we leave that clichéd version of human prejudice . There is more to what meets the eye .
- Ask a naive newbie form a "small town" with a gleam in his/her eye to study in a college where the natives of the supposed " big cities" don't make it .
- Talk about dignity of labour , try dating a lad/lass working in your hot spot for fast food.
- Ever felt the need to appreciate the most efficient ,but "oh..so tacky hindi speaking" colleague in the so called developing corporate culture of our nation.
- The incessant anthem of your mum , "Oh my god ! my child wants to make a career in a call centre", "want to work as a stylist, jo bhi ho rahoge to naayi hi naa....." , " Singing! keep it for the cultural fests of your engineering college".
- Does it worry you when your friend changes his/her swanky new mobile handset within a week.
It is self implied , prejudice is intrinsic to human nature, these were just prototypes of billions & trillions. We clearly , don't identify the threat it poses to development of any kind .
Need of the hour is to remove the impediments ,as we unintentionally hurt.
Next time , be a little discerning.....
